ALL ROLES/THEME-IDEAS ARE ASSIGNED! MUSIC ZINES HAVE A TIGHTER THEME SETUP THAN ALL OUR OTHER ZINES.
ARTISTS are assigned specific page types: music video page, recap page, and quiz spreads. Assigned roles are chosen based on the person's style, strengths, available work time, and specific page slots available.
GRAPHIC DESIGNERS are assigned specific roles based on the person's style/strength: quiz layout graphics, or recap layout graphics. Work together with the artist to come to a decision on what layout you both think is best for the piece.
WRITERS are assigned specific pages: quiz writing, or recap writing. All writers get assigned 4-6 pieces.
All merch will be assigned to specific artists/graphic designers based on their style/strengths! Merch duties are an additional duty to the zine page the contributor is doing. Generally, the mod checks a contributor's noted available time as submitted on the "terms/condition" form and gives them a smaller role on the zine page to accommodate for the added merch role. It's all about balancing the needs of the project and the needs of the contributors.
IMPORTANT: Please note that contributors assigned to merch duties, are free to say they don't have the time for it and are unable to take on the role. In which case, the mod planned ahead and has a second choice.
